i keep meanin to pop by the server, i havent played any valve game for quite some time and even in my years of cs'ing ive always played like a noob but its still good fun

I'd like to join sometime, I'm not at all good, but will play on a server so long as its taken as fun rather than some servers where its ALL serious.

You'll need to download an IRC client.. ie MIRC (www.mirc.co.uk)

heh started tips i always advise never aim for the head until u get the hand of the game fully always go for burst shots to the chest as it still does good dmg to em but also has chance to recoil in to a head shot its how i started ^ ^

Yes - incase you didn't know, IRC is a big multiplayer version of windows notepad. Like mort says, you'll need a client. mIRC is the most popular windows client. Once it's downloaded, then click the link and it should work .

(Or use Gaim - then you can do what I do and ignore people on msn, yahoo, irc and more at the same time )

God you guys are good just got my arse wiped managed to kill 1 person in 10 games not bad i will try it again its nice to see you give everybody a chance even the noob,s i havent played cs source for about 5months.
I love the fact you can pick it up and play again thanks valve also it plays so good on my new x800xl max settings yes!!!!!!!!!!

Xchats good if you want a nice easy interface with not alot of functionality.
but i quite like it

shame no ones made something that is as good as mIRC with a nicer interface
