    Sony Computers?

    someone at work just asked me what i thought of the sony computers...? as an IT tech i should know that sony made computers.... but i don't!

    so has anyone herd anything about them ? are they any good? i'm gonna have a flick at the sony website, just wondered what you chaps reckon!

    never had any personal experience with the computers, but they look okay.

    and the laptops seem okay. they just seem average though.

    from my experiance of sony (mate had a laptop ive had several bits n bobs) the hardware is top knotch but the software is dire, so format the system and put a fresh install on

    The laptops are very nice. The desktops look nice but they're waaaay overpriced.

    I think of all sonys computer gear looks beautiful. The vaio notebooks always get good reviews so i can only assume that they are quite good (unless someones palm has been crossed with silver )

    I would say all of Sony's kit in retail stores and many online places is just stupidly over-priced! They do make some very nice products, but the price always makes u think twice

    i thought that would be the case, i shall tell the lady who asked not to bother, i said to her if she was gonna 'buy' then i have always found DELL to make good fast computers, but i would build her one if not..

    sony = overpriced, good qu. and 120% brag factor /strokes monitor

    Dell are a VERY good pc manufacturer, and the 3 year warranty as standard is awesome
