I need a new pair of shoes...

I want to buy a pair of shoes. Simple you may say! However, I tend only to buy shoes every couple of years and tend to buy a more pricey pair that will last a long time rather than a budget pair that may need to be replaced in 6 months. My local Russell Bromley has closed down! I'm a fan of the American Sebago brand (the Dockers series). The style has to be semi-casual. I don't normally dress casually (i've only got one pair of jeans!).

    I've found this site:

    http://www.solelyshoes.com/

That site has the range of shoes that I like. So, what should I buy? Bear in mind, i'm not a spring chicken at 42 years of age so something 'sensible' should be the order of the day! I'm not bothered about price (within reason!) as they should last a few years so should prove cost-effective over that time.

The "Thunderwatch by Rockport" on that site look quite good. They're more casual than anything else, but they look like they could be used for many different situations.

Being a "bit" younger I like th Loake Design series on that site

I'd get the loake havana in brown for casual/smart wear

    Black I like the Maverick
