lol, how harsh!
i wonder if the insurance company paid up?
i mean he wasnt even in the accident
ah well its a cheap convertible now
lol, unforunate, should never have moved the guy into his car anyway, standard first aid rules really.
Or better yet, if someone lets you lie in their car after an accident, just say you have back pain to one of the firefighters
Exactly the same happened to a local squad car. Some kind of accident then an argument so one party went and sat int he patrol car whilst things calmed down. Then he said he had a twinge in his back so the paramedics insisted the roof be removed from the plod-mobile to get him out.
LMAO, i think it's still driveable, just that you get caught the moment you start it.

This nearly happened to the mum of a friend of mine. We went for a bit of a lark on a mates 2 berth boat on the thames when we we students. A friend was trying to retrieve a rope on a tree for a swing over the river when he fell 20 feet and landed on the bank then rolled unconcious into the water. I jumped in and made sure he didn't drown then the othes helped haul him out. He went into shock very quickly as he had landed on the top part of his back and neck.
Another friend swam across the river then ran home to get his mum who drove out in the car (ford fiesta) and met us along side the river. She drove him to the Royal Berks in Reading. My mate who was 15 stone and 6'2" explained to the doctors what had happened so they decided the best way to get him out of the car would be to take the roof off the ford fiesta.
In the end they put a collar on him, reclined the seat, got a stretcher under him and slid him out the rear of the hatchback! - much to the relief of my friends mum who had driven him to hospital.

If he was in my carr, no matter how bad his back was I would have booted him out of the passenger side window
