    Joe Calzaghe fight anyone?

    WOW!

i watched this live late last night, and again just now, and i have to say that it is one of the finest arse kickings ive ever seen. Calzaghe completely outboxed and outclassed Lacey, who in fairness, looked to be twice his size muscularly. atmoshpere was electric as well.

    great job ITV !

was an awesome sight, i wouldnt have watched it if it was on ITV, cause i woulda assumed it was a every week boring fight on channel 5. WHat a fight, tbh, i thought he was going to lose ait and lacy start to dominate from round 3 onwards, but he jsut kept getting pasted.

I didn't see the match until later, but it was a stunner. Calzaghe was considered the underdog by probably the majority of pundits, and he just completely outclassed Lacey. It will be interesting to see whether he decides to move up a weight class to the more lucrative fights... since I don't think there's anyone who can touch him in his weight class now.

it was worth staying up late for, was a good fight. Although, some of the support fights wern't that bad either. Glad to see some good boxing on ITV for once, rather than watching everyone suck up to Amir Kahn, i dont see how you can call watching Kahn fight some part time butcher a "big fight"

Calzaghe was on a whole new level.

    Lacy's inexperience showed.

I did watch it, to be fair i wasnt a bit suprised, i have seen nearly every joe calzaghe fight and he is a top class fight by far the best in his weight division, the only fight that he was really tested was against robin "the grim reaper" Reid , who himself is a good fighter, but fell aside a little, but you can bet your house on him moving up a weight within the next couple if not the next fight ...

The Fight was awesome and one of the best ive seen for any one person, all that was missing was the KO.

The fight before hand with Macaranelli V Hobson was a cracker too ... a good night for boxing

    Regards

this was a cracking fight, Joe used his angles and movement brilliantly, he wouldn't give Lacy a chance to set himself. And all this despite the fact that he can't punch properly - Lacy was right when he called him a slapper

Joe should move up imo, there are no big fights at 168lbs, whilst at 175lbs (light heavyweight) there is Clinton Woods, Roy Jones Jr and Antonio Tarver. Calzaghe is stylistically a good matchup for them all.
