On the Mugen front...

I collected 2 packages yesterday (after being skinned alive on tax) and set about the build...

I've made a silly mistake and it has come to bite me now - can you spot it?. Due to the mistake the build has been temporarily halted as I cba 'stripping' the whole front section down to correct it haha! All this means is that my buggy is going to be very very lightly...well lighter

I've also decided to install the servos and recevier I get into the savage I picked up, and sort out the Mugen fully, once I get home in July. This gives me a month of fun with the Savage in England

P.S. I've ordered the part that I've used incorrectly (i.e. there will be 2 of them in the buggy)...so I should be continuing the build by next week!

Tbh, the Mugen is designed much better than the Inferno, and was quite obvious during the build. At many times during the build I would just stop and go 'Wow'...

My Inferno is going to become my basher and the Mugen is deffo my fav now

I always wanted a rc plane.. but i never seem to have the time (or the cash )

Yep it is the one near Swindon.... glad it's not in Swindon though

I have my LST2, I have a Helicopter too - but I am not prepared to fly it too much risk, it will be sold this year. Its a Raptor 90 with all the bells and whistles....

During the build of the Mugen I realised that I made a silly mistake and decided to strip the front section down to get to the diff. I was shocked that I was able to do it in under 5 mins :-o



I sorted out my mistake and proceeded to install the center diff and chassis braces:



...and fuel tank:



The build process has been halted here for reasons I will elaborate later on.

I then proceeded to install the WERKs clutch, which is quite impressive...



The Savage and radio stuff are currently on route, and I should have the radio bits by Friday and hopefully the Savage as well. I plan to install the servos and Spektrum Rx in the Savage and this is the reason for the 'buid' halt. Also I find it is easier for me to hand carry the chassis (MBX) + parts rather than install the mill/pipe etc as that makes the buggy occupy more 'vertical' space inside my russack. More updates later on

Funkstar, yea it's pretty sweet. I'm tempted to connect a mill up on a bench and setup an 'automated' mill breaking in thing. Would be an interesting idea, and if done right - could become something RC people might be interested in *hrm*.
