Hey. You'd be most welcome at any later event - we plan on running them regularly

The age limit is 16, so you're just in there Sadly, for legal reasons, we have to get your legal guardian/parent to sign a parental consent form. Otherwise our insurance premiums would be insane :/

In /re to the Diablo question...dunno Best bet is to ask on the FragM forums. Though I do know that there's no planned Diablo game in terms of 'planned by the organisers'. Might be worth trying to get something organised with random people there.

If anyone has more questions, I'm available on MSN sporadically, though I'm moving house in a few days and will be without inet for up to a week or so.

I'll post on there as soon as I know a date for definite though I suspect it'll be a few weeks at least before I can be sure.

If you sign up to the forums, I can send out a mass email once we've decided....

We're nearing the 'crunch time' now and if anyone else is interested, would be great if you could sign up

We've already had enough bookings to go ahead but i know there's at least 10-20 people that've expressed an interest that haven't actually signed up as yet. More attendees means more prizes

    You know you want to...

We've just run a test for the wireless internet connection and it looks very promising (see here). We've also set a deadline for booking as we have to give the venue owner a list of attendees a few days before the event and hire tables/etc. Fun stuff indeed

Well, quite an interesting turn up for the books. We've had a load of interest from the enemydown lot and have extended the places to a maximum of 75. That said, they're filling up fast so you'll need to book soon to be sure of getting a seat

We've also extended the scope of the CS tourney (though we're by no means reducing our other games) and will be increasing the prizes somewhat.

So, just over two weeks till the LAN and just under 1.5 weeks till the closing date for tickets... Book book book ;p

Full details are on the website (www.fragm.co.uk) but to sum up, we'll be playing a wide range of FPS games, along with emulation of old-school consoles such as SNES, N64, PSX and some MAME classics. We've also got some RTSers that're playing Medieval Total War, StarCraft and Dawn of War as much as they can

Prizes aren't finalised yet but range from peripherals to a cash prize for the CS tourney (not confirmed as depends on numbers)

hehe I used to live in Rusholme (well technically Longsight).. in Didsbury though now.. so might still be of interest to me

First thing I thought when I heard Rusholme and LAN though was it's a setup to nab PCs hehe.
We cannot choose what we are.. but what are we but the sum of our choices?

Lol..I truly do know the feeling

Those of us that're there who aren't serious CS players are all in similar boats though I was always a Q3 h0 rather than CS.

Anyhow, you should head down..bring the missus along and she can moan about all the men playing on the PCs, much like most of our gfs will be doing that weekend

40 bookings and 2.5 days left to book - help us fill those last 10 places. You know you want to ;p

Alternatively, if you're already signed up, be sure to check the main news page for a daily update before the LAN

Also, if anyone comes along that can beat me at SoulBlade, I'll refund their entry fee
