speaking of bills we got one for £11700 from an internet provider....
yes you read correctly £11700 !! of course my dad hit the roof and called them up staright away - some berk had put the invoice into an envelope to us because the same three letters were at the beginning of the other customer's name...

but the guys in this thread seriously need their brains checking. great scam but honestly, how f*ink stupid can you be not to notice? and he said he hardly ever uses the phone, as though its the first time in a couple of weeks, does he have a life?!!probably sits on the computer all day...
just enjoying some of the rediculous replies too!!

Well if you are reading that site on a regular basis i'd say you are slightly less likely to have a fully complete real life.

Its funny with the pictures and its not the fact that he missed the cable going under the door, its the fact that it goes right across the garden, i can understand it being missed inside, but outside I MEAN COME ON....

and just out of interest i did read a couple of threads on there forums there, one topic being "first time you saw real porn". I'd hardly say that forum is there for the itellectuals among us

I think with that point i arrest my case.

Well I am surprised people still used monitored access. Why not just pay £15 or whatever it is for unmetered, that way you know how much you are going to spend and budget.

    But that is really stupid.

I don't buy it for a second. the bloke is an attention seeker tbh - now he's saying he doesn't want to cause any damage to next doors machine cos he is a relative ?

    tosh.

An there are quite a few racist remarks in that forum - d***heads tbh.

    LOL! That's hilarious.

On another similar theme, the school across the road from me (my old secondary school - who I still have ties with) might be getting an 11mbit wireless link with our local university for the internet (they're sick of their ISP.)

Below is a map, with the university circled, the school circled, and an arrow pointing to my house...

    Map courtesy of streetmap.co.uk

Hmmm, somebody is in the line of sight for the signal! You just know an aerial is gonna be protruding from my roof!
