Cracker (On Tonight)

Anyone else looking forward to watching this tonight? One of the best tv shows ever imo,****ing loved Cracker as a kid and can't wait to watch this one

Personally, I thought it was a pretty fantastic and thought provoking story. It pretty much lays out what Jimmy McGovern thinks of America (ie, a nation of hypocrites who were quite happy to support and fund terrorism in Northern Ireland until they got a taste of their own medicine on 9/11); yes it was cynical, yes it could be pretty near the knuckle at times, but McGovern's intention was to provoke debate, and I think he achieved that pretty well...

Dramatically, it was extremely well structured, it was never predictable or easy to figure out how it would end and when the ending did come, it was a shock.... Even more shocking was the fact that you could actually identify with the killer and understand his motives, but then "Cracker" always was rather good at doing that....

I liked the episode, it stuck to how cracker has always been, very very gripping to watch. so much so i didnt mind watching some adverts
