No idea, how did you find that?

Wild guesses.

HEXUS FOLDING TEAM It's EASY
It has the hexus X on the page. dont know anything other than that.
Possibly bought just in case any media projects were planned for the future... to pre-empt cyber squatters possibly?
an inquirer article about hexus getting vandalised at IDF shows a picture of a board with "www.hexus.tv" on it.

It seems daft not to do it, especially for the larger organisations. I'm always suprised when you go to a .co.uk of a large company only to find it held by someone else...given the relatively inexpensive nature of domains, you'd think it wise to buy every single domain out there....Considering how much companies pay out to protect brand names, a few hundred quid here and there for domains doesn't seem like a lot.
Different for smaller companies & open source projects, but when your main medium is the internet, seems sensible to secure every access avenue you can find.
