I'm arriving in Malaga late tonight - help

Ok, I need some advice here, preferably from people who've been to malaga.

I booked some flights to malaga to arrive tonight at 1am on the advice of some friends who are there. They send me their address AFTER I book flights and they are over 1hour away from malaga, which means a £50 taxi fair...

So I'm considering staying in Malaga.

I'm finding that the web really sucks for find Hostels because all the sites want you to book through them, so don't give addresses or phone numbers for the actual hostel - I'd like to know where I'm staying location wise b4 I commit to anything.

SO... any suggestions on places to stay, or places to go at 1am?

I've never been to Spain before, I have no idea about malaga, so some good advice would be welcome.

I'm thinking I really need to find a hostel because I'll be too tired to stay awake all night, which is dangerous with no hotel room, and I'd rather not ruin my weekend by one crazy night out.

If they are an our away from malaga its either Granada or more nearer to Furengarola they will live.

PM me the place they live and I will be able to give you some pointers. My uncle moved out there 10 years ago and I go across every year so know malaga airport and the transport from it like the back of my hand
