    Science, oh where for art thou science.

    I was pointed towards this article from another thread, and just couldn't let it go.

    http://www.dhmo.org/facts.html
    Sorry I don't know how to make that a proper link.

    But anyway it contains this beautiful extract;
    "Research conducted by award-winning U.S. scientist Nathan Zohner concluded that roughly 86 percent of the population supports a ban on dihydrogen monoxide."

    Wow it must be true, it's been revealed by the science of polling. The research of polling at that.
    Next someone will make us believe you can find the best person to run macro economics, and socio policly by polling as well.

    No wait we already do that..

    LOL what have I done

    I'm pretty sure that the page in question is a "joke" page and should be taken with the proverbial pinch of salt ( but not too much as that's bad for you too )

    Uses of Dihydrogen Monoxide...

    by the Church of Scientology on their members and their members' families (although surprisingly, many members recently have contacted DHMO.org to vehemently deny such use),

    we should be banning this substance as soon as possible - it's dangerous to our children and could be used for all sorts of nasty things especially terrorist bombs. wake up people dihydrogen monoxide is a seriously dangerous substance. I found some this morning and nearly drank it. Thank god I know the number of the anti-terrorist squad off by heart and had the presence of mind to call them. The poisonous, explosive substance was promptly dealt with by the bomb squad. Only when this obnoxious substance is properly controlled may we sleep peacefully in our beds.
