    Watched "The Departed" This Afternoon

    Blardy good movie, thoroughly enjoyed the acting and plot!

    Great cast list and some interesting twists. Tense and violent, another Scorcese masterpiece. Go and watch!

    Wasn't going to bother, as American remakes of foreign films don't usually shape up to much in my experience.

    But after hearing Mark Kermodes review on radio 5 on friday this looks like it may be one of the rare exceptions...

    A Scorcese remake might be better than the normal run of remakes, but I doubt it'll tell us more than the original Infernal Affairs.
