Who cares about the european qualifiers I mean who really gives a huge damn about them?

I for one don't and just love how these boring, badly scheduled matches are played when the seasons just starting.

No bloody wonder all the teams in the leagues etc are a bit miffed as players that have just been bought just before the transfer window and brought in have only played 2 or 3 games with their collegues before being dragged away to Outer Mongolia to play some team for a mickey mouse cup qualifier.

I know from personal experience that to get to know your team-mates attributes and their strengths and weaknesses it takes at least 10 games for the squad to gel together as a unit.

What would happen if for example a player for say Arsenal was playing against a player from Chelsea in the qualifiers. Would there be a voice in the back of their mind giving encouragement for them to give them a shoeing so that the team that pays their wages i.e Arsenal, has a better chance of winning the league ?

I'm not bitter because we lost. In fact if we won 20-0 I'd still say the same thing as above as european qualifiers are a mockery and will always will be in my eyes and do nothing but add to an already crammed fixture listings.

To be fair i was dead against Mclaren becoming manager, and i still thought the same after the Greece and Andorra result ( WHo?? ) , another crap choice by the FA, Big Sam all the way for me ... Regardless what the BBC have imagined .. and no im not a bolton fan ....

I would say Fergy for England manager but id rather have Saddam Hussain than a Scot in charge of England ...

I do love the Football thread on Hexus they get so violent!! ha ha, anyway i think Mclaren should be sacked, two reasons, he is the same as Sven as someone has already mentioned and secondly he dropped Beckham, if you look at the World cup the only reason we got that far was due to him and only him? Lampard and Downing need to be dropped and he needs to understand that people realise that Downing is only in the side due to his ties at boro.

1. Crouch is rubbish unless there is becks to kick the ball at his head. He cant stand up to save his life and his shirt dont fit.

He totally messed up in his first club managerial post at Blackburn.
Give the guy a chance - he'll probably be ok in his second international managership.

regarding big Sam: the FA backed off completely from Venables when there were accusations flying. They strangely kept away from Sam when Mclaren was appointed and just a short while later we get to hear about accusations against Sam.

I reckon us English would be unbearable if we had a good football team, so good thing that half the team still even haven't got basic skills found in just about any "developing" football nation.
