    I thought they had condensing Combi's ? or is that not possible. It is a flat (maisonette), and the whole point is to save space. We have hardly any storage, getting rid of the boiler/tank/top-up-tank will give us a lot more space.

    I have 5 radiators - 2 'large' rooms, 3 small. For hot water supply we have shower, bathroom sink, kitchen sink and toilet sink. Only 2 people, but a 3rd on the way

    Yup, condensing combis are possible. However, if you separate heating/hot water then you don't have your eggs in one basket. That's my only gripe with combis.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    i asked our technical support team and they said 24kw should be enough, they did also recommend a boiler as well, which if you want i can suggest

    Yes please, though worster is a name I've heard a lot.

    Not going to be here forever so not like we have to install the best or anything.

    Just had a plumber around, and he said we need a larger pipe from the gas mains to the boiler because it's a combi... was he making that up?
    Can you find out what sort of pipe I should have?? I think he said it was a 1/2" pipe or something like that - was a bit rushed tbh.

    I would imagine that you would need a 3/4" supply instead of 1/2", that's pretty common.

    OK, I'm pretty sure that's what he said. It's just one pipe and it runs along the beams, so I don't think it'll be a big issue tbh. It's from one closet to another, so floorboards aren't a problem either.
