this was on here the other day - this is a great idea if you have no use for the room with the TV hanging out - i bet they saved themself a good few quid doing it this way

Whats wierd is the different levels of the floor from one room to another. Very strange considering the rooms are supposedly adjacent.
Yeah the back looks pants, but the front looks really cool. A lot closer to the wall than any LCD or plasma would get too as there is no wall mount.
it looks to me that they just haven't finished, there is still wall rubble on the floor.
Something like that would be pretty cool for a plasma too, then you could get it really flush mounted. The back is still available for connecting things up easily.
It's something I would consider if i have the right house and the room at the back could be used as a cabling room and study etc.
that's a rather ingenious plan...
is this a golden oldie or something done recently? anyone tell if the telly is HD or not?
