    this was on here the other day - this is a great idea if you have no use for the room with the TV hanging out - i bet they saved themself a good few quid doing it this way

    Hahahah thats an awsome idea. Messy from the back, but awsome.

    Bet with some woodwork and cable tidying you could do somthing with the back aswell. Maybe make it into a self on top.

    i thought he could of got an old wardrobe and took the back out of it and covered the back of the tv with that!

    Whats wierd is the different levels of the floor from one room to another. Very strange considering the rooms are supposedly adjacent.

    Yeah the back looks pants, but the front looks really cool. A lot closer to the wall than any LCD or plasma would get too as there is no wall mount.

    I agree but if they can hide the back somehow, it'll be even better

    it looks to me that they just haven't finished, there is still wall rubble on the floor.

    Something like that would be pretty cool for a plasma too, then you could get it really flush mounted. The back is still available for connecting things up easily.

    It's something I would consider if i have the right house and the room at the back could be used as a cabling room and study etc.
