    Secret Santa

So who's doing one at work?

My dept has decided to do one, and I've been given the task of buying a gift to the value of no more than £5 for this fella....

However, I've got a slight problem!!!!

I dont know a frigging thing about him! lol...

He kinda keeps himself to himself.... so what can I get him for this Secret Santa ???

    Cheers,
    Nick

If you know nothing about him, then how about getting him a £5 gift voucher?

I could, but the whole dept's decided that if you get a gift voucher, then you are basically lame and it's also a big cop out

    He's early/mid 30's I'd say

Ours at uni was a fiver. Went a squid over budget and bought a mug that you could write onto with chalk. Got it for my best mate who's always nicking my mugs... want one for myself now

I was bought some neon orange hairspray (bleached my hair recently). Needless to say I was pinned down and made to enjoy the present!

For someone you don't know, random (not novelty) mugs are a good bet

Is a blow up doll a bit too much for a small, angry 40+ year old developer who doesn't even give me eye contact because I'm a young whipper-snapper?

I was thinking crueller, but I think a blow-up doll communicates the message I was after.

Tescos have some funky gadget stuff in their chrimbo aisle, otherwise www.boysstuff.co.uk would be a good call (random gadgety stuff) but I couldn't find anything for less than £10

Lead: was from a pretty upmarket ickle shop in Oxford (one of the ones on Little Clarendon St., for Zathras who'll who where that is). I've not seen them anywhere else.

I tried googling, but ended up with zillions of link from other site that never went anywhere almost all of them centering around some iwantoneofthose.com site which didn't stok it... was a search page instead!

    ooooh

    found one at

    http://www.gadgets-plus.co.uk/itm00131.htm

but is a bit more than I payed for mine.

    /edit - £5.50 bottome of this page!
