    Seriously though he annoys the hell out of me. I saw parts of the perspex box stunt he did and all I kept thinking is whats the point. Same with his drowing one.

    You know just the other day I was reading in New Scientist how some slightly misguided Victorian psychiatrists used "rotation therapy" (spinning on a big revolving stretcher) to treat the most violent cases of dementia and psychosis , with positive results. Maybe Blain's trying to cure himself.

    It was only later they realised the poor guys were simply too nauseas / exhausted and disorientated to scream any more. I'll try and find a link if I can.

    He seems to do the most pointless things. Putting himself in extreme situations just for "amusement value" which, in my opinion is practically non existent. I mean who in their right mind would want to watch some guy torture himself?
