Anyone in, and around Birmingham

I saw somthing on the news not too long back : Basicly you have your picture taken and they put it into glass. Its put acctually "into" the glass by lazers and is 3D. Its hard to explain, cant find a pic of it on google or anywhere else.
I think it was somwhere in the new Bullring : as im sure this is what the report was on.

Anyone got any ideas where exactly this is, and if it is in the bullring ?

I think I've seen some ornaments in collectables that use the same technique. It's like etched glass but actually on the inside of a block of glass.
