TomTom Plus and Orange

got my tomtom one today and tried connecting it to my phoen to use the plus services like traffic warning and such it all connected to my phone fine but would not use my gprs settings so i did manual setup and it asked for number to dial which my gprs setting dont give me. any ideas my phone is a samsung e720 im on orange pay as you go and i have a tom tom one. ( there is another thread about a problem with my phone i know for sure it is not this that is causing the problem because i tried it on my sister e720 she is also on orange pay as you go and no luck
