Question Getting a T68i cheap, advice needed

    Hi All,
I am getting a SonyEricsson T68i cheap from a friend of a friend soon. Do you all have any reccomendations for accessories?
Currently have a couple on my to buy list:
Replacement housing (currently worn I have been told)
    USB Bluetooth dongle for PC

Not bothered about handsfree or any of that malarky.
Are there any good sites for ringtones for it? or is it nokia compatible?
Also any good site or software?

    Ta

Theres loads of accessories available for this phone (used to have one...) Expansys have always been good for me:

    http://www.expansys.com/accessory.asp?code=T68I

    Also I'd recommend mobilefun

    http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/cat/Sony-...n-T68-T68i.htm

For software/themes/ringtones/etc. try having a browse around the forums at http://www.esato.com/board - plenty of sites listed.
Sony-Ericsson use ringtones in imy format - different to nokia - plenty about. Make sure you the one called 'walk', it's ..err... amusing.
Now go away before I taunt you a second time.

Let me warn you that there are complaints about mobilefun on another forum, for poor customer service, especially regarding unlocking.

Becuase I want bluetooth (or some other syncable system) and a colour screen and for £40 it can't be beaten. I can't be bothered with silly contracts for a 'free' phone. Also alot of the new phones are abit on the ugly side, tho not all. I don't actually use my mobile much, just the t68i can sync with my tasks and callendar which I would like. Also it leaves me some money toward a Radeon 9600xt
Also I'm not a huge fan of Polyphonic ringtones.

I bought mine of XTR, very happy with it, if you find anywhere you can get replacement covers/keys i would be interested because my g/f t68 is a bit battered and some of my keys are slightly chipped.

I was going to buy a housing from Ebay.co.uk as there is a company on there that sells them for £11 inc the required screwdriver. Just search for "t68i housing". I'm gonna see what its like first tho. There maybe someone doing keypads too.

Is this a new phone? Obviously not if the fascia's worn. Interesting to see £40 is considered a good price, as I've got a pretty much mint example for sale after upgrade.

Ringtones aren't nokia compatible. The cameras aren't really worth it - get a cheap pocket digicam instead. Don't think the screen is photo-quality - it isn't.

Really - I'd just ordered a couple of times from there and it turned up promptly, didn't have to use their customer service. Give us a link and I'll think twice about buying there again.

Zathras: I know they still sell sim free for £130 and refurb for £100. £40 in theory is a bargain, tho you may have more bits with yours (extra charger/camera/bluetooth stuff) that would push up the price. The cheapest used price on amazon.co.uk is £65 so don't shoot yourself in the foot.

Refurb for £100? Cripes, we (T-mobile retail) do them brand new with simcard for £99 on PAYG and that's without promo or anything. Hmm, anyone want to swap a 128mb Sony Duo memorystick for a perfect condition factory unlocked t68i and charger?
