WWW.MrsBurley.CO.UK now updated
posts which were removed still count as the postID but don't count in the total real post count so you can't base it on postID. If I get a chance I'll find out who was responsible
well done all * claps *
been a good 100000
*whipes eye *
oh yeah, I forgot about that..
if you get a list of the postid table and sort by date that should pop it up though
(\__/)
(='.'=)
(")_(")
how would that help unless you know the exact time to the second that the 100,000th post was made ?
because if you have a list of the posts sorted by date, starting at the first one ever posted, you look down until you get to the post you're looking for, the date is just to get them in the correct sequence.
Not actually going by the postid, but you're effectively renumbering so you discount all the deleted posts etc and find the true 100000th post
(\__/)
(='.'=)
(")_(")
Posts which don't count towards the total still appear in the normal posts table. Their active state is dependant on other tables so a SQL query is needed, you can't just sort them into date order
Trig got the 100,000th post
I'm the daddeh.....
