    <rant>Firefox2

edit: sorry found the extensions. I moved the folder now goign to try redownloading them.

I put FF2 on a few days ago, probably my own fault but the install is messed up.

I kept FF1.5 on by installing to different folder incase there wasnt any good extensions yet.

So now all my extensions are messed up. They say restart firefox to install/uninstall, but restarting does nothing (and neither does reinstalling). FF1.5 used to work fine with these extensions, but since FF2 was put on it says they are not compatible.

So does anyone know where it is hiding the extension files? they are not in its directory. Im guessing if i delete these I can start again and it should work. FF1.5 and FF2 seem to be trying to use the same extensions, and ff2 probably has marked the ff1.5 ones in some way so 1.5 thinks they cant be used.

The extensions that dont work are imagezoom, paste and go, autocopy, flashgot, and also one ive never used yet called aadvark which looked possibly quite usefull.

I still think apps should be self contained with in a single folder or zip archive, so that they cant have these kind of issues.

    documents and settings/*name*/application data/mozilla/firefox/

its because its a ported unix program.....

as for your extensions, it does warn you to check first, just restart in safe mode (that is, firefox, not windows) and remove them that way
