    True.

IIRC, The Sex Pistols (or rather their record comapny) used this meaning of the word to win an obscenity court case concerning their album "Never mind the Bollocks..."
Really? A name for a priest or a vicar?

Don't seem to fit very well, to be honest.

"In the name of the father, the son, and the holy spirit; amen... lovely speach bollocks."

    You sure about that, mate?

    Found this:

"bollocks doesn't actually mean what you might be tempted (based on phonetic similarities) to think it does. The word actually means priest... yes priest. Remember the album called "Never Mind The Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols"? Well the British Authorities were already irate with the group over a certain public debacle involving the Queen of England and an exposed pair of butt cheeks belonging to Sid Vicious, so they argued that the word 'bollocks' violated the decency in advertising act and prohibited display of the group's album covers in Virgin record stores throughout Great Britain. Curiously, however, Richard Branson (founder and CEO of Virgin Records at the time) learnt from an English professor that the word bollocks referred to priests in the context of extraordinarily boring people, and thus the injunction on the displays was revoked and the only long-term effect of all the hue and cry was a huge marketing bonanza for Messrs. Branson and Co."
