    Ebay is stupid!

    http://cgi2.ebay.co.uk/aw-cgi/eBayIS...ornaci_william

they have people who waste people's time, like the guy above who live in the US - he bids on loads of items he isn't interested in buying - yet there's nothing to stop him signing up again and wasting even more people's time.

there's also another (5th) item he has bidded on but has no intention of paying for!

How long did it take you to figure that one out?

It is annoying though, especially when it happens to you!

Well you can knock someone off your items if you don't like them right?

I also thought you could set a minimum rating ...

no ebay is not stupid, some of the users are stupid!
Someone left a note on a piece of cake in the fridge that said, "Do not eat!". I ate the cake and left a note saying, "Yuck, who the hell eats paper ?

Yeah like anything it has losers. I have used ebay quite a bit for both buying and selling, and as long as you are careful it is perfectly safe. I always remove bidders with a rating of less than zero, and have email contact with bidders with a low/zero rating. Whilst not 100% safe I am yet to be ripped off buy someone on Ebay, :touches wood:

If some one didn't pay me via ebay I'd take my own "non payment" action...
