Wow, the whole article has been changed and taken on a far more condemning tone! Yesterday it had more of a "they're just lightboards" tone to it, the "middle-finger" bit was touched on in a more jovial way down the bottom and no-one was sure if a crime had been committed. Now it starts with:

Authorities have arrested two men in connection with electronic light boards depicting a middle-finger-waving moon man that triggered repeated bomb scares around Boston on Wednesday and prompted the closure of bridges and a stretch of the Charles River.

turner put up electronic ads, they've admitted putting up ads, they were only ads. What is there to investigate and why are they still holding people in custody? because they panicked and now they have been made to feel stupid and so want to look like big men perhaps?

is it Turner's fault that some people panicked before actually looking at the 'devices'? sigh
maybe they should have informed the city, but still....
