    Mobility X1900 Vs 7950GTX Comparison ?

    Would one of you fine fellows push me in the right direction. I've tried my inapt skills with Google and all I can find is X1800 Vs 7900GS comparisions and the like

    Itching to buy a new laptop, but cant decide what graphics chip to settle for.

    Any help would be apreciated

    What games do you play?

    OpenGL games will do better with the 7950 (though I've not heard of a 7950gtx before), Shader heavy games will do better with the x1900. The x1900 can also do AA at the same time as HDR, so it's better for things like Oblivion. But if you're a quake/prey fan then I'd go with the 7950.

    whilst what kalniel says is true to some degree i think that the 7950 is considerably better than the X1900 as its a newer chip. The equivilent ATI to the 7950 is the x1950xt.

    Go for the 7950 in my opinion

    the 7950 is the faster chip, as said its new and has quicker clocks i think..
