This a remote which only works if you have an AIW card?

I want a remote, but Ive only got a Ti4200, and can't afford a newer one! It looks like this does only work with the ATI graphics cards, but I thought Id see if anyone knew for sure before dismissing the idea!

It works with any graphics card, although it has more functions available if you do have an ati card.

Out of intrest, is that ANY ATI card, or only the AIW ones?
i have a 9800XT, would that have the "extra functions" ? as it doesnt have AIW, but does have the rage chip

I think it is only the AIW, as that is what it designed for.

Have a search for 'ATI Remote Wonder' (ATI.com isn't reponding at the mo)

I think that's what this thing is. The remote wonder gives you the remote control functions of the AIW and could be used with any vid card.

You can use the remote wonder with any card, a few buttons are assigned specifically to the ATI multimedia centre but I wouldn't worry about it. It's a great remote and very useful .
