    Question Hynix and Samsung VGA memory help!!

    How can I reconize the type (2.8,3.0,3.3,3.6) of Hynix and Samsung memory which are on a Radeon 9700?

    There should be a code on each chip. On my gf4 the speed is at the end of this code.

    damn it's 3.6 Anyone any experiences wih Hynix 3.6 will it work at the 9700pro frequency? cause the Infineon won't.

    "suck it and see" some does some doesn't it's not a cert like with the sammy tho

    "suck em and see" was of that advert for throat sweets ages ago? anyhow, 3.6ns ram is 550mhz default so you should be able to get easy 600-630ish, maybe more maybe less as knock_knock says, just try
