Best Graphics Card for about 70-100 quid

    Hi
I don't really play games, but I am assuming that a 70-100 quid graphics card will be adequate for occasioanl gaming, in high ish resolution (on a 21" widescreen)

What is the best one out there? the x1950 that ocuk do (here) looks quite good and cheap, but i think i'll be ordering from either scan or ebuyer as for everything else they seem cheaper.

i need it to have --
    2 dvi ports
and a port so i can plug a hdtv into it and use that as a third monitor (which i believe the ocuk gfx card has).

i am not interested in overclocking, but would love a quiet one or one with a good adjustable fan.

    thanks

I don't think any graphics cards have 2 dvi + dvi/hdmi outputs.. might be wrong.

Thats pretty much the best card for the money though. Should be avaliable in a few other places as well.

Are you bothered about DX10 games?

No standard graphics card can drive 3 displays at once. On the card you're looking at you can have 2xDVI or DVI+TV (or a single display). For the budget and assuming you don't want/need DX10 then a X1950Pro is probably the best card. Asus and HIS have the best cooling for low noise, but will cost a bit more than the basic model.

For the third screen issue, can you get a mobo with onboard graphics?

That's not a hdtv out, it's S-video and as has been mentioned you cannot use all 3 at the same time.

    For that budget a x1950Pro or 7900GS
A 256mb card should be fine, ie game on one monitor normal windows on the other.

OcUK up to you, personally I refuse to use them anymore but that's just me.
I'll admit that's a good price and there OcUK cards come from ATi themselves.
Although that's what they told me when I got a 9700Pro from them and had so much fun tring to sort out the RMA when it cooked it's own memory, which is my warning about that OcUK card, any warranty will be through them and unless they've majorly sorted out there RMA / after sale support, it'll bee like pulling teeth if something goes wrong.
