£100 AGP card..can AGP still hack it ?

can AGP still cut it with the new games on £100 budget???

e.g Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK


or is it just not worth paying out for a card that will struggle to cope

Well if you can push the budget by £4.45
512MB Sapphire Radeon X1950Pro AGP 8x
AGP can still hack it esp at the res of most 17"-19" tft's (1280x1024 or 1400x900)

Other place to try is 2nd hand, flebay or simular.

EDIT: check his PSU can cope before you do.

What's the rest of your spec? So long as it's top end then it'd keep going with a agp graphics card for another wee while, otherwise it's probably worth saving your coppers.

its a work comp. dell dual Xeon, dual SCSI drive. the Quadro in it runs most games fine but wont use shader3.0 so newer games wont play
