Question Need 24" monitor suggestions for a friend

I have a friend who's looking for a good widescreen 24" LCD monitor for gaming and general work. It needs to have a fast response time (5ms or less), really accurate color reproduction, good viewing angles, is Vista compatible, DVI outputs 9he has two 8800 Ultra cards in SLI mode...), and preferably a contrast ratio of at least 1000:1. His budget is about $800.

We've found a few, but they all had a fatal flaw (one Dell monitor had bad banding, one Samsung has inadaquate response times..., etc.). Can you guys make a few suggestions?
