    odd ti4200 problem, ebuyer batch?

    lo chaps

bought a leadtek ti4200 from ebuyer last feb...
works okay but on some games more recently, and in 3dmark2001
it's always been unstable, unless I enabled 4xAF
so planetside ran slower than it should have and CoD was unstable unless some gfx effects were tweaked up!

someone mentioned a dodgy batch of cards from ebuyer a while ago, interested in finding out whether this is one of those
    any information appreciated
    cheers

I bought a Leadtek 4800se from Ebuyer in March, and just a few months ago it went straight into my bin. It wouldnt run any games, and hundreds of green pixels would be all over my screen.

I tried to contact Leadtek, but they never answered the phones, and they never replied to my Emails. Last time I buy anything from Leadtek.

    I may well do so...
    have e-mailed leadtek
    will contact ebuyer too

the problem is that the card runs at first, so any tech monkey testing it will say I'm talking crap
it's only in AF off that things don't work, but that cripples the card for planetside or CoD
