    An overclocked HD4770 seems to be faster than an HD4850:

    My slightly adjusted predictions are:

    HD4650 - upto £50
    HD4670 - upto £60
    RV740 GDDR3 - between £55 to £70
    RV740 GDDR5 - between £70 to £95
    overclocked RV740 GDDR5 - between £90 to £110
    HD4870 512mb - between £110 to £140
    HD4870 1gb - between £140 to £170
    RV790 - between £160 to £200

    I wonder if the RV770 core will be phased out and replaced by the RV790?? They could simply used downclocked RV790 cores which cannot hit 850mhz easily and also use a cheaper PCB too.
