I'm not sure about a 5ms response time for gaming - I don't think I'd mind it too much but I'm not much of a gamer I'm afraid
I'm intrigued by what looks like USB and Serial ports on the back! For the price it seems pretty reaonable to me (my 720p LCD TV cost me about £500 a few years back...) and if you're specifically looking to combine TV and Monitor in one unit I doubt you'll find anything much better at the price...
TBH I think people get caught up too much in this response time malarkey!! My Philips 200W6CS has an MVA panel with 8ms response and TBH it seems fine enough for gaming.
8ms?!?! I can't wait 8ms!!!!
I'd be surprised if I even noticed 8ms passing.

Anything <5ms is fine for fast paced gaming. <10ms would be acceptable for "normal" gaming.
Have you consider an offering from Dell? They make pretty **** hot gaming screens.
Meh!! I have played Crysis and many other games and TBH it is more than good enough. Plenty of people play games on normal wide-screen TVs and projectors so I think that most modern displays above £100 are good enough for gaming. Of course it won't be enough for uber gaming but then nothing is usually good enough for long....!
I consider colour accuracy a more important feature for me than response times. However I am interested in photography so YMMV!

I've been known to game on my TV and that has a 16ms response time! For preference I'd take a CRT anyday, though...
If you are upgrading I would buy a 24" for 1920x1200, otherwise the only benefit is arguable contrast ratio/brightness etc, which aren't that noticable.
I use this monitor, and very pleased with gaming it is my main activity on a pc, I love to shoot people (not in real life of course)

Only £220 for 2" more and 5ms response with decent spec. + it is a samsung, one of the best manufacturers for HD tv's
