Arrow Any forseeable problems? (bluray system)

I'm updating my pc bit by bit and I wan't eventually to play bluray films and also be a pretty nice gaming rig.
Budget IS a issue and unless you know a better component for the same price, don't suggest components please.
    I have chosen a monitor: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/24-Ii...920-x-1080-2ms
    And a graphics card: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/1Gb-S...90-1GB-VAPOR-X
I chose this one because I saw pretty good reviews performance wise plus it has an HDMI output port which would be hassle free and (I assume) better for bluray than DVI.
The bluray drive is a cheap OEM £60 from scan.
My question is this: Providing I get a good enough cpu (i7 920 - should be no problem) and the correct software (hopefully bundled), Could I run bluray movies Without having to mess about for ages and buy lots of add ons. In short, would this be easy.

Put it this way, thanks to my graphics card (an AGP 2600XT 512mb) my storage HTPC can run Blu-ray on a single core Athlon 3000 with 1gb 3200 ram.

You shouldn't need a card anywhere near that powerful unless you want to play games. If you don't, look for an Nividia 9400 card - should be cheaper with excellent HD performance and likely you could get a fanless one.

Nah, it's mainly a gaming rig and I was thinking it would be added bonus. What BR drive do you have? Did it come with software?
Plus, I thought that nvidia were werse for bluray because they require extra software to be bought for them to run HD?

Unless you buy a retail BD drive i doubt you will get any software to play Blu Rays, and then it might only be a demo / cut down version.

Amazon currently sell Power DVD8 Ultra for just over £30 this will play Blu Rays and give you full surround sound etc.

It MUST be either the Ultra version for BD playback though.
