..between a 9800SE AIW and 9700Pro?
I've got a Vantec Iceberg on the 9800, and a new Arctic VCA silencer on the 9700Pro.

Unless you're one of those people who wishes to gamble with the card by doing whatever to make it a 9800pro/XT, the 9700Pro is better.

Did the 9800SE AIW successfully softmod? If so then it will be more powerful than the 9700pro, but if not then the 9700pro will have the upperhand. Without the softmod the 9800SE AIW is equivalent to/slightly quicker than a 9600XT.
I have a 9800SE AIW that successfully softmodded and couldnt be happier with it, but its still a cracking card without the softmod.
mine softmodded nicely and it o/c's like crazy

If the 9800se softmods then the cards are about th same when overclocked. At stock with softmod the 9800se wins.
Just for reference the card I bought from lowestonweb is currently running at 425.25MHz core, 364.50 (729MHz) ram, and I still think there might be more in it
