    Tis buggered methinks

    http://www.bindibadgi.co.uk/NA/f00ked.JPG - 1240x1024 pic, 56k warning as usual.

I'd upload the bmp but its 3.5meg and people would be screaming at me. The jpg doesnt do it justice cause its worse then that really

Tis my 9600 pro - im assuming the ram is fubared and it needs RMAing? Just after a 2nd opinion.

It doesnt accept any drivers, just says they arent installed
It looks like that constantly, whatever res, although my TFT is standard 1240x1024
Ive checked the seating of the heatsink - its fine
the fan is working too and the card is in immaculate condition!?

Ive resorted to a 4meg PCI video card cause i have to post my G550 as i sold it yesterday, and its KILLIN my eyes :'(
I dont like sig pics so i turn off sigs Which doesnt help when i dont know what ive written here! DOH!

I had that same problem before with a creative gf256.

Its not a RAM problem I was told, more of a gpu problem. I'd be furious if I got a card like that. Tho I'm still waiting on my speakers to be returned from OCUK who claim that their returns person is on holiday

How do other peeps approach things like this when selling 2nd hand? Personally, I've not sold anything 2nd hand before so I'm not sure really how I'ed behave in this situation.

If I'ed have sold the card to Bindi in working order and then had to accept a return on it and it cam back fubar I certainly wouldnt be impressed. Do people take the attitude of "I'll just have to write this £100 off as a lost cause"? Remember, a computer vendor tends to be able to rma it to the manufacturer who has to chalk up the cost so they tend to lose out only in the man hour handling department.

In this case Bindi doesnt seem to have tested it in a 2nd PC so there is the possibility it will get back to him and work.

Further, what would your attitude be if you saw someone who posted on forums like this stating they had fried an 8500 in the same system by overclocking it?
