No ghosting or trailing at all in games, which is what matters. Unless I'm just not very sensitive to it, I don't know, but I've read a lot of user reports on the U2311H and I don't think I've seen a single person to say they have seen any ghosting. That's one thing to bear in mind, pretty much all the people who have bought one of the BenQ VA monitors have said they've seen ghosting on them, however most say it's not that noticeable, especially if you don't deliberately go looking for it. I've also seen a few people buy a EW2420 as well as a U2311H and say they can clearly see there's noticeable less ghosting (i.e. none) on the Dell.

It is, but you can't really compare it directly to a TN panel, people have said it's probably closer to 5ms (or even 2ms) if you do a direct comparison.

Got other things that I need to cash in on soon. Plus X'mas + birthday + anni. is around the corner for me... this is my most cash deprived season of the year
Yeah, I've just bought a GTX 460 1GB as my old card died and now the Dell monitor, I'm pretty strapped for cash now

Actually I meant comparing the EW2420 and the U2311H they both have 8ms. And if you aren't noticing any ghosting or trailing, I'm surprised that people have noticed such on the EW2420. Perhaps it really depends on the games. What do you think?

Yes but muppet hat that is ONE transistion and it is g2g which traditionally was the slowest but is now the fastest with RTC technology. I believe some transistions on the benq take as long 50ms+ extrapolating results from a review of a samsung monitor that uses the same panel as the benq. However with the dell monitor no transistion exceeds 25ms.

It is the same as back in the day when everyone just compared ISO transistions ... it is not accurate as it is only measuring one type of transistion.
