B0rked vid card?

and the card appears fine atm using just the 3.7 drivers and no control panel

gah now the 3.7's wont install and im getting a zero display service error on install

Found this on the ATI site but it doenst seem to fix the prob

On the first system restart after installing an ATI Enhanced display driver for an ATI AGP graphics adapter, the following issue may occur:

Windows boots to a black screen while loading
Refer to the following sections for possible causes.

For the CATALYST feature suite, the SMARTGART feature may blank the screen during the FIRST restart after a driver install
SMARTGART is an advanced diagnostics tool that automatically determines and configures the optimal AGP and PCI bus settings for the most stable graphics performance. SMARTGART will run a series of tests the first reboot after a driver install. During the test SMARTGART may blank the screen.

Well it looks like the card has died. getting nioce patterns on screen when booting
Lets hope its not the mobo / PSU causing the problem as I seem to recall around when it started when I changed the Rheo switch on the PSU to low it locked the pc , all seems ok at the mo with this FX5200 even when changing the Rheo switch

have you checked that your voltage rails have not dropped with the extra fans installed?

they seem to be slightly above but still within limits.
