Haha! I know what you mean! Wait for Sandy, ah Ivy is better, but Haswell is only a year away, etc... I'm not in any particular rush, so I might as well just keep building my monetary resources and get the best I can. I think Ivy and the 28nm graphics is when I shall buy

F1 2010, Fallout 3/NV, Mass Effect 2, The witcher etc. (basically all the games both I and the wife have!) You get used to it quite quickly, but on scenes where the whole scene is moving across the screen there's a slight blurriness compared to my LG TN monitor that the wife is now using if you look at them side by side. When the scene's not moving as much it's fine, and where the movement is only in part of the screen it's hardly noticeable (the only way to see it on f1 2010 is the green best line arrows - they are sharper on hers).

But for a 6bit panel, the colours are good on the Dell

you sure you dont have a dud screen on your u2311h mate i play F1 alot and have played the witcher and both fallout games and i have the same monitor (purchased at christmas) and i have no ghosting at all. I know when they were super cheap hicks12 (i think) got one that had awful colour bleed maybe you got a dud screen.

Yeah the monitor is 100% working. You can't see the ghosting as ghosting, it's just slightly blurry when turning - you know the way all LCD monitors are slightly blurry, it's just slightly more blurry than faster response monitors.
