every reboot corrupts any GPU driver- 2k stalls and dies

every time my system reboots, especially when in 3d games, but even in normal browsing, all the gpu drivers for radeon/geforce3/4
are corrupted so that windows halts on the blue progress bar/splash screen.

it's an abit NF7s, i can restart in safe mode, and also works again when i change the graphics card round. i have chenged the graphics card dozens of times to refresh windows drivers.

It's really nightmarish cos i want to sell some of these graphics cards, but i have to keep them to mend winz?!?!

what can i do? nfs, all dx, bios, drivers etc.

What's your entire system setup? Check everything is running stock (ie no o/c's) and that your RAM can handle the FSB speed, possibly even underclock. A common problem is the CPU HSF, be sure it is on properly and that you only used the tiniest amount of compound. You could reset the BIOS back to safe defaults too.

Take out all non essential hw, just leave HD, CPU+HSF, mobo, gfx and RAM connected in your case+PSU ... also disable onboard sound, LAN etc (via BIOS). Try a fresh OS install, does it crash or do you get a chance to install drivers. If this is all still no good then one or more of your PSU, CPU, HSF, RAM, gfx or mobo is fubar'ed.

If you get too stuck try each of your parts in turn in a working PC in order to find the culprit(s).

the reboots are in control, what would you do if any time you wanted to reboot or play with OC levels the graphics driver would currupt all the windows installation due to corruption with any reboot???
