The PC World near me were clearing out 64mb Ti4200s the other day for £30. Had I been a bit less of a lazy git I would have bought the four they had and ebayed them. Anyway, it would be worth your while asking how much the cards are.

By the way, much as I dislike Tom's Hardware, I'll grudgingly admit that their video card roundup is a very useful comparison tool to give you an idea of how different cards perform relative to each other:

Actually I took the easy way out.
I bought a cheap yet acceptable card for my needs.
I picked up a Geforce MX 4000 128mg for £30.
I needed a card and now I've got one. I think I'l start thinking about getting a card I actually want when I've got the PC I'm building together.
Y'know. I'll assemble and then upgrade.
Aye, not bad, can't really argue for £30. It'll still play most games fine at normal resolution and detail levels. It might well overclock a bit too, worth a try....

Yeah for £30 that isnt bad, just didnt want to blowing your money on something crap.

The way forward, esp if you cant get into the fs/ft forum.
EDIT: Missed the dfact you already sorted it out. Oh well. Maybe useful for anyone else browsing!
I had to barter with them at TLM. They wanted £37 and it cost me £33 to get precise but I'm not picky over £3

Check my sig, not a bad clock speed is it?
Also i like how my card beats most fx5200's at 3dmark2k1
Picked up a sound card with my change aswell.
32Bit , Multi Channel, Surround Sound outputs for £8.
Nothing special but if I'd have bought a more expensive graphics card I wouldnt' have it.
Buying the card was a bit of a fiasco.
The most expensive card i could afford with the money I took was a 128mb gf5500 but they were out of stock and said they'd have some after 12.
I went back in the afternoon and they'd got in 5500s but they were 256mg and they wanted £70.
I didn't want the 5200s (Which they got a little touchy about) so I got the MX 4000.
Just at my Mum's house. She's giving me another GFC card.
Radeon 7000.
Anyone wanna tell me anything about it?

Components So Far:
XFX Geforce MX 4000 128mb
"SumEvision" (Who the hell are they) Multi channel PCI Sound card.
Standard 56K Modem that I'll probably never use.
Case with a bit missing but it's only superficial.
(God this PC is turning into a joke. )
