Help !

This is what ig et playing battlefeild vietnam. its on my asus 9800XT which is watercooled temps are around 38-45 degrees. weather is hot at the min so tis at stock cooling. but when i see images liek that ig et scared. what u guys think it is. dont have this prob in any other games that i knwo fo anyway.

Is the game patched, latest video card drivers?

No i havent patched it but i do have the latest video card drivers. I borrowed it from a friend cough.... so i dont know if i can use a patch on it...

Yeah you can patch it

Just get it from the game makes website, nothing wrong with that

its worth a try, the weather is undoubtedly putting extra strain on though.

did you say stock cooling or stock speeds? as watercooling cant be stock, Ill assume speeds

Havent seen that type of display corruption before, not that I remember anyway, with a 9x00. check it with other games, 3dm2k3 etc..
Also check you havent got as3 under the ram chips, around the core, or another part of the card.

ok i havent got that particular game since it sucks major a$$ so i cant test, but it looks like a similar prob that i get in Call of duty - when i die on that and it shows you dead on the floor the whole screen goes like the pic you showin me there, so if you have COD [much much much better game] then try that and see if you have the same prob. if you don thave it go trade in all your BF games for it

Try shoving a fan over the gfx card RAM to see if it makes a difference.

nup tis shocking, one of the worst FPS games i have ever played, even quake has more depth to it than any BF game/mod... but this aint the point i went a bit OT in me last post - have you tried the COD thing?
