So, are the X800XT and the X800XT Platinum Edition different cards then, or not?
Connect3D ATI Radeon X800 XT PE 256MB, £361
Gigabyte GV-R80X256V ATI Radeon X800 XT, £371
Sapphire ATI Radeon X800 XT 256MB, £352.
PowerColor Radeon X800XT Platinum Ed, £370.
MSI Radeon X800XT 256MB, £370
The XT Plats don't seem to cost more than the XTs, just seems that some cards have PE after the name, and some don't.
The Sapphire doesn't come with any games, as far as I can tell, nor does the Connect3D card. So, is the extra tenner for the 'PE', which I assume means a higher clock, or just the small differences you get between cards from different companies?
