    VERY disappointing, especially when you pay an extra £30 or more over other GT's. I mentioned it on their forums

    Did you disable Fast Writes? That can cause problems also need to match 2D and 3D clocks to make stable.

    For all you people with a gainward card that will not run @ stated clock speeds I think the following link might just be of interest to you all

    Seems Gainward have a "wrong" bios on some of the 6800 cards and thus the clock speeds are all wrong. If you read the post by torbjorn then you will see that there are some new bioses for these cards.

    Before flashing - I would recommend contacting gainward to see if you are covered by their RMA policy in the unlikely event that an issue arises when you flash the card with the correct/updated bios.
