Nvidia Nview - Performance goes to pot?

I just got a regular monitor to run nview with my tft, but the gaming performance seems to have drastically reduced, is there a way to fix this? Driving me bonkers

Disable the second screen when your gaming.

Go get Ultramon (http://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/) then its just a case of rightclick-> Disable Secondary Monitors.

and the same to enable too.

Go into Performance and Quality settings, check advanced settings, then set multi-display acceleration to 'single display mode'. This way you can keep your second monitor enabled while playing games.
