    Asus x800xt in stock...

At www.spd.co.uk - Asus' official UK distributor.

At least, they were in stock when I purchased one yesterday. It arrived today, and it's a beauty. Comes with an extra wide (same height) pcb heatsink/fan that covers up the memory chips as well as the core, Deus Ex 2 and Counterstrike: Condition Zero, loads of tools, and a free webcam. Not bad for £375 and did I say IN STOCK?!!?

    Get to it people!

I went for the exact opposite, looked for the card only, no games, no extra's, just an X800XT-PE in a box please. £320. I'm happy.

As you say though, the words 'X800XT' and 'In Stock' should be enough to excite anyone.

Good news on the Half Life II front as well lads, X-Bit Labs reports:

"The absolute leader of today’s Counter Strike: Source benchmark session is the ATI RADEON X800 XT: it provides astonishing image quality and performance with or without full-scene antialiasing and anisotropic filtering quality even in the highest resolutions. The board also scored highest results in the video stress test aimed to mimic Half-Life 2 game load."

Hio basically custom pc experienced problems with it locking up in some benchmarks etc. This applies to the X800.

Asus 6800 Ultra is also not as good as it uses its own cooler which doesnt do a brilliant job as a ref cooler and the card runs hotters and locks up.

Ill find the links for you later !
