    6800 over 9800 pro

    Hi guys
Will there be much of a difference going from a 9800 pro (stock) to a 6800 (325/750 clocks I think).

It's just that I can probably get rid of the 9800 for 110 and the 6800 is under 180 so it's not really that costly an upgrade!

    Worth it?

Yes. Should get a decent increases on most games and BIG increases on new stuff like Doom3 and HL2.

I tried the 128mb DDR 6800....it was way faster in almost everythint than my Rad9800Pro.

Ecxcept in IL-2 Forgotten Battles where it sucked.

For ever toher game...its awesome...and they overclock in Core speedvery well

If you dont fly IL2 then do it

What's the reason for that then? And what card is best for IL2? I prefer Nvidia myself but that's just based on experience with drivers and flakey control software on ATI kit in the past so I think I'll stick with the tried and trusted Nvidia from now on.
