    Graphics problem Radeon 4890

Can anyone help tell me why this is happening with the graphics on-screen? At first I thought it was a problem with chrome but it seems to be doing it everywhere, only thing I can think is that there is a problem with the card. It's a XFX Radeon 4890

It only seems to be doing it during normal tasks, in game there as been no problem so far.

Clean out drivers. memtest RAM. Clear temporary files.

Is it only doing it with browsers (inc. steam)?

I have had this issue a few times when I had a HD4890, In my case it was that I had overclocked the memory a little too much. I don't know if you have overclocked this one at all but if you have just try setting it back to defaults.

You could also try to apply some new thermal paste, that worked the second time round.

Yeah make sure it isn't overclocked, and also check temperatures too. If it is only when browsing, try a different browser.
